Grand Istana Rama Hotel, Kuta (Bali)

Although the rooms were old and the bathrooms rusty, my stay at the hotel was saved by the spacious, clean, and nice room on the 3rd floor. The service was top-notch with very friendly and helpful staff making me feel comfortable throughout. The location was ideal, close to everything I wanted to visit while in Kuta, and the dining experience, although could do with more options, was nice. Facilities were basic but satisfactory.

The hotel is strategically located just opposite Kuta Beach and near various dining and shopping options. The rooms are spacious, cleaned daily to a high standard, though initial cleanliness may vary. Service is mixed, with some fantastic towel animals but unhelpfulness in other areas. The dining offers good variety but lacks tropical fruits. The pool is clean and has a swim-up bar with a nice cocktail selection.

The beautiful grounds provide a relaxing atmosphere, but some noise from the mall parking area can be heard. The service is friendly and accommodating, ensuring a comfortable stay.
